What is it like to have a reflexology treatment?

Your reflexology session begins with a full consultation to understand your needs and ensure the treatment is tailored to you. You’ll then settle into a comfortable reclining reflexology chair, where you can fully relax. Only your feet and ankles will be exposed (unless you are having a combined treatment), ensuring you stay warm and comfortable throughout. You’ll also be offered a cosy blanket and a glass of water to help you unwind even further.

I start with a soothing foot cleanse and gentle scrub to refresh and prepare your feet. Using a precise thumb and finger-walking technique, I apply rhythmic, therapeutic pressure to specific reflex points on the feet, which correspond to different areas of the body. This technique is designed to be deeply relaxing and effective—never painful or ticklish. Pressure is always adjusted to suit your comfort level, ensuring a truly enjoyable experience.

While reflexology is most commonly performed on the feet, it can also be done on the hands, face, and ears. These areas contain reflex points that correspond to the body in the same way as the feet, offering an alternative option for those who may prefer a different approach. Facial reflexology, in particular, is deeply soothing and can help release tension while promoting a radiant glow.

Many clients describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more balanced after their reflexology session. They often report improved sleep, reduced stress, and relief from everyday tension. Some also notice benefits such as better digestion, improved circulation, and enhanced overall well-being. While each person’s experience is unique, reflexology is a deeply soothing therapy that helps restore harmony to both body and mind.
